RNA extraction kit
OXGEN Viral RNA Kit is specifically designed for SARS-CoV-2 isolation from SWAB and SPUTUM. Extracted RNA is free from inhibitors and is compatible with any downstream applications (RT-QPCR, NGS, and Nanopore Sequencing). The kits are based on silica spin columns protocol for rapid and simple processing time. The KIT contains custom designed RNA Carrier for Nucleic Acid precipitation.
VERFICATION OF RNA EXTRACTION KIT
RNA extraction kit was verified with HKU protocol for RT-PCR detection of 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in suspected human cases. As it can be seen RNA samples isolated with Oxgen extraction kit give the same amplification CTs as the control RNAs from SARS-CoV infected samples. The amplicon size for HKU assay is 132 bp.
